DTS-421
- DTS-421 is a double sided adhesive tape with a special tissue carrier and modified acrylic adhesive.
- This tape is a good ‚all rounder‘ for mainly interior use.
- It has well balanced adhesive properties, a good resistance to ageing and UV light, and can withstand extremes of temperature. Its high tack gives an excellent adhesion to practically any material.
- DTS-421 is preferably used for:
- mounting name-plates and decorative profiles
- lamination of foams (polyester, polyether, PVC, polyethylene)
- laminating felt, film, cloth and paper
- fixing displays and advertising material
- film and paper splicing
- Shear Adhesion (25 mm² on V2A steel, 1 kg weight at 23° and 50 % rel. atmospheric humidity): >15 h
- The prohibited substances according to the RoHS directive (2002/95/EC) and 2006/122/EG (PFOS) are not included in this product
- Storage: Clean and dry in a well ventilated area, preferably at a temperature between 10°C and 30°C. Stored under these conditions shelf life will be a minimum of one year
- Application: Temperature: between +15°C and +30°C. Surface must be clean and free from dust and grease. Pressure sensitive adhesive must be applied with a maximum of pressure in order to achieve maximum pressure level. The indicated level of performance will be reached after a bonding period of 24 hours at 23°C.
